Terms of Service

Last updated 18 July 2026

These terms govern your use of GhostPay, a service operated from the United Kingdom at getghostpay.com. By creating an account or using the free tools, you agree to them.

What GhostPay is

GhostPay generates payment reminder emails and helps you track overdue invoices from your own clients. It provides message templates, a tracking dashboard and scheduled reminder sending.

GhostPay is not a debt collection agency, does not contact your clients on your behalf outside the reminders you configure, and does not provide legal or financial advice. Any figures shown by the late payment fee calculator are estimates for guidance only, not legal advice, and you should confirm current rates and your contract terms before invoicing a client for late fees.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Your content and your clients

You retain ownership of the client and invoice data you enter into GhostPay. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of that data and for having the right to contact the people you enter as clients. GhostPay is not responsible for the content or consequences of reminder emails you choose to send.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe, in the currency selected at checkout. The Founding plan is a one-time payment that grants lifetime access to the features of the Pro plan, including future Pro features, for as long as GhostPay operates. You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.

If a payment fails, we may downgrade or suspend access to paid features until it is resolved.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use GhostPay to harass, threaten or defraud anyone, to send reminders for debts you know are not genuinely owed, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Service availability

We aim to keep GhostPay available and reminders sending on schedule, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for late or failed reminder delivery caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including outages at Resend, Stripe, Supabase or Vercel.

Limitation of liability

GhostPay is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue from an invoice that goes unpaid, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using GhostPay and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
